Who's walking who? - it's about Leadership
Walking a dog is about leading and following. If you expect your dog to walk properly on a leash then you need the dog to respect you and see you as their leader. On the other hand you have to respect your dog while you display leadership qualities. The difference between a good leader and a great leader is how they treat their followers. Don't ask to be followed, just let it happen without force by demonstrating leadership qualities. The greatness comes with the communication between you and your dog during your journey.
